BC BladeWorks is a combined effort between James Coogler and Mark Busbee.
James Coogler is a native Texan who grew up with a love for the outdoors. His interest in martial arts, knives and guns, led him to learn gunsmithing and knifemaking. He has been a full time knife maker since 2003 and a part-time gunsmith since the mid 90’s.
He started CNC Bladewerkz in 2004 and made knives under that name until 2011. In 2011 he moved to deep east Texas and decided to change to James Coogler Custom Knives.
In late 2018 he met Mark Busbee at a local gun show and he had some ideas for knives he wanted to make. Those ideas and a lot of hard work turned in to BC BladeWorks. Purpose built edged weapons for hard everyday use.
Mark Busbee is also a native Texan and is a Registered Nurse as well as cattle rancher, firearms/tactics instructor & knifemaker.
